Worth The Wait

Read 2 Corinthians 4:13-18
“For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.” 2 Corinthians 4:17
Everyone I talk to has some kind of a problem. Some situations revolve around financial difficulties or personal health issues. Others concern a child who is hard to handle, a prodigal who decides to break family ties, or a family member who is battling a serious disease. The list is endless.
Often, people think that once we surrender our lives to the Lord that all of our days will run smoothly, but being a Christian does not mean we will be problem free. In fact, Christians sometimes are faced with exceptionally difficult circumstances.
But if we believe God’s Word, instead of feeling devastated, we are assured that God has not forsaken us. He is preparing a place for us in heaven, and He promises that what is unseen will be far better than what we are experiencing now. And we will live with the Lord forever.
Thank you, Lord, that your promises are true.

Hi Everyone…..
Time continues to fly by too quickly. A reason to count each second as precious. Let’s make it a point to go out of our way this week to uplift a neighbor, relative or friend. Pick up your phone, jot an e-mail, send a handwritten card or stop by for a visit. You will make someone’s day special.
Have a blessed week…………….Fran
