Are You Willing?

Read Exodus 10:7-20
“So Moses stretched out his staff over Egypt, and the Lord made an east wind blow across the land…by morning the wind had brought the locusts” (Exodus 10:13).
Do you feel ordinary? Do you think others are more talented than you? Do you sometimes feel inadequate? Good! You’re just the person God is searching for.
God is not looking for extraordinary people to accomplish His purposes. He is looking for ordinary people, willing to be used by Him.
When God approached Moses with plans to send him to Pharaoh, Moses panicked. He felt inadequate and questioned God’s choice. Moses gave the Lord many reasons why he was not the person to go, but God assured Moses that He would be with him and provide all the help he needed.
Accepting God’s promise, Moses stepped out in faith and did all that the Lord told him. Because of his obedience, God was able to work numerous miracles through him. God performed the miracles. Moses was just the vessel He used.
God is still interested in ordinary people, like you and me, through whom He can do extraordinary things. Miracles are not a thing of the past. When we pray, we can believe with confidence that our prayers will be answered.
Prayer: Father, please give me an obedient heart.
