A Great Concept!

Isaiah 53:1-12
THOUGHT FOR TODAY: He was crushed for our iniquities…And by His scourging we are healed. Isaiah 53:5 (NAS)
I came to the toll booth on the Garden State Parkway and instead of searching for a token or change, I breezed right through with the EZ-Pass gadget on my windshield. What a great concept! The mechanical toll machine recognized me as a registered member of the new program and posted the word, “Paid.”
When I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior and invited him into my life, God the Father recognized me as a registered member of his Kingdom. Because of Jesus’ death on the cross, God marked my sins, “Paid in Full.” That’s an even greater concept!
PRAYER: Thank you, Father, that through the death of your son, Jesus, I have been made righteous in your sight. Let me share this wonderful message with others. Amen.
